Eljay began his career as a market research consultant for ASK Qualitative Research, where he focused on research and reporting for clients such as Liberty Mutual. After a year of working in qualitative consulting, he transitioned into strategic planning at McCann. During his tenure at McCann, he worked on a number of paid media campaigns by guiding the messaging strategy for brands like Cigna Health, New York Lottery, and Godiva. Following his time with McCann, he moved into creative as a digital copywriter for Easter Seals Bay Area (ESBA). At ESBA, he focused on drafting website materials and building external recruiting pages. After spending time in nonprofit, he joined IW Group as the cofounder of our Next Gen initiative.
Named in PR WEEK’s 30-under-30, Eljay currently leads IW Group’s San Francisco Office where he is responsible for client accounts such as the Beam Suntory, Walmart, Nielsen, Covered California, Healthcare.gov, Northwestern Mutual and Love, Bonito. Eljay currently serves on four nonprofit boards including ACE NextGen, ASCEND LA, APCF, and ASIAN Inc.
