Frank Clouser is Assistant Vice President, Insurance Communications for USAA’s Corporate Communications. He is responsible for the overall strategic direction and leadership of all internal and external communications related to both USAA’s Property & Casualty and Life Company lines of business.

Frank is a strategic leader with over 15 years of internal, external and executive communications experience in the insurance and financial services industries. Known as a cross-functional leader, Frank has a proven track record of strategic communication and public relations success while leading results-driven teams that achieve business objectives and protect or advance a corporation’s reputation across customers, media, employees, consumers, and opinion leaders.

Prior to joining USAA in 2021, Frank was the head of communications for Allstate’s Northwest Region where he led Allstate’s internal and external communication strategies, insurance product launches, and employee communications, ensuring communications achieve business objectives and reputation results.

Prior to Allstate, Frank served as a corporate affairs associate for Weber Shandwick Chicago where he was responsible for corporate positioning and crisis and issues management for Dairy Management Inc. (DMI), International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA), Masterfoods, Allstate, MasterCard, ADM, Amerisave, Employco, Wayne Hummer, Foley & Lardner and Aon. Frank holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a Master’s of Arts in Mass Communication both from the University of Florida. Throughout his career, Frank has been recognized in the public relations industry for his leadership in reputation brand management, strategic internal communications, and community relations.

Frank and his wife, Kathryn, are blessed with four children and reside in San Antonio, Texas.
