Dr. Tina McCorkindale, the newly elected CEO and President of the Institute for Public Relations, discusses the strength of IPR and the future of public relations research in the below video. Dr. McCorkindale is credited with nearly 100 academic presentations and publications. She serves as past chair of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Educators Academy and is the PRSSA National Faculty Adviser. She is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society, the Commission for Public Relations Education, the PRSA National Research Committee and the Universal Accreditation Board.

Dr. McCorkindale states that IPR will continue to work to invest more into research efforts, while also building awareness of what’s already available to professionals and academics who share our passion for communications. Dr. McCorkindale’s deep knowledge of the profession and a strong research record reaffirms IPR’s commitment to research that is relevant to the professions of public relations and corporate communications.
