Arati is Executive Vice President of Communications at Truist Financial Corp., a purpose-driven financial services company, leading executive and business communications. In her role, she is a strategic advisor to the Chairman & CEO and is responsible for creating and driving integrated, purpose-focused stakeholder strategies. Previously, she was EVP, CEO & Corporate Communications for Wells Fargo & Co. responsible for communications strategy, reputation management, content creation, storytelling as well as infrastructure and channels across the enterprise. She led Wells Fargo’s launch into brand journalism with the site wellsfargo.com/stories.
Prior to her role at Wells Fargo, Arati was a journalist with the Charlotte Business Journal and adjunct faculty at UNC-Charlotte. She holds a Master of Arts degree in English from Appalachian State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Boston College. She is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill’s Executive Leadership Program, and holds a Corporate Director Certificate from the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program.
