Appspace examined the challenges and perceptions of employees in all types of workplaces (in-person, hybrid, and remote).

An online survey of 800 employees and 100 IT managers was conducted from November 22 — December 8, 2023. 

Key findings include:

1.) The top two struggles for in-person employees included:
–“Difficulty determining if colleagues will be coming into the office” (28%)
–“Difficulty collaborating with employees working remotely” (27%)
2.) The top two struggles for remote employees included:
–“Feeling a sense of camaraderie with my coworkers” (23%)
–“Feeling connected and engaged with my work” (20%)
3.) 54% of respondents felt that “going to the office feels like a waste of time.”
4.) 45% of respondents said corporate communications are frequent enough “some of the time.”
5.) 23% of respondents said corporate communications are relevant to the all of the time.
