Disability:IN and the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD) assess companies every year for their disability inclusion.

In 2022, 415 companies completed the Disability Equality Index survey. Of the participating companies, 318 have operations outside of the United States.

Key findings include:
1.) 60% of companies had company-wide hiring goals for people with disabilities.
2.) 30% of companies said they have a senior executive (someone within the first two layers reporting to the CEO) who is known as being a person with a disability.
3.) 61% had an accessibility expert who could resolve accessibility issues with internal digital products.
4.) 55% had a centralized accommodation fund or budget margin for disability-related expenses.
