Briana Bryant is an experienced strategic communications professional with 15 years of strategic storytelling, change management and award-winning public relations experience. She currently serves as the Alabama Director for NP Strategy, a southeastern-based strategic communications firm.
As an advocate for social and industry impact, Bryant is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of leaders and giving back to the community. Along with volunteering time to numerous projects focused on promoting DEI&B, she has served in local and national leadership roles in the PR industry, now serving on the boards of PRSA Alabama (2024 President of the Board) and the PRSA Southeast District (2024 Chair of Communications).
Bryant has been recognized across the industry for her leadership and career achievements. She was named Women’s Empowerment Champion by PR News and has received multiple PRCA Medallion Awards for her work leading client campaigns and developing PR strategies. She was honored as a Rising Star Alumni by the UAB National Alumni Society and was named a UAB Outstanding Student three times.
A native of Los Angeles, Bryant planted roots in Birmingham, Alabama in 2015. She received a master’s degree in public administration and a bachelor’s in communications from UAB. She credits her love of the Magic City to its rich history, cultural and outdoor pursuits.
