About the Virtual Conference Series
The Institute for Public Relations launched a new virtual conference series called the “Future of Comms” with three separate virtual conferences on November 12, September 3, and October 8. Playback is now available for one, two, or all three! If you could not attend a specific date, you can still request access to the conference playback and materials. 

This conference series will focus on specific aspects of the future of the PR industry, as well as society, especially as this was a big election year. The conferences was held from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET and featured a series of either 30-minute presentations or 45-minute panels.

Conference registration includes:

  • Full conference materials (reading material, presentation slides, and more)
  • Access to recorded playbacks 
  • Exclusive access to watch all live presentations and ask questions from experts in the field

Cancellation Policy: 
Refund of the registration cost, less an administrative fee of $100, will be made if written notice of cancellation is sent no later than August 3, 2020. Cancellation requests made after the deadline are not eligible for a refund. Registration can be transferred up to 48 hours before the conference. FAQs

How do I access the conference?
You will receive a “Final Details” email days before the conference, which will include the Zoom link to log on. Please note if you registered for all three conferences, you will receive three separate “Final Details” emails.
 
What should I do if I haven’t received a confirmation email?
We recommend checking your spam/junk folder for the confirmation email. If it is not there, please email IPR Communications and Marketing Manager Nikki Kesaris at nikki@instituteforpr.org.
 
I can no longer attend the conference. Can I transfer my registration to one of the other days?
Registration can be transferred up to 48 hours before the conference. Please contact Erica Hall at erica@instituteforpr.org for more information.
 
I registered but can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
There are no refunds, however, the playback version of each presentation (of the day you registered for) will be made available 48 hours after the event to stream at your convenience!
 
When should I log in?
You’re able to log in 15 minutes before the conference begins.
 
Who do I contact if I’m having trouble accessing the conference?

Will there be an on-demand recording of the conference?
Yes! Attendees will receive a playback version of each presentation 48 hours after the event. We will also send out the PowerPoint and any additional materials from the presentation. 
 
Can several people from my company log in to the virtual conference at the same time?
No. Registration is limited to one per person.
 
Is the virtual conference accessible to both PC and MAC users?
Yes!
 
What web browser do you recommend for the conference?
While you’re able to use any web browser of your choosing, we recommend Google Chrome and enable flash for the best connection.  
 
Do I have to use a desktop/laptop or am I able to use a mobile device?
You’re able to use a mobile device! If you choose to do so, we recommend downloading the Zoom app. It’s free and will make navigation of the site much easier. You’ll log on the same way as you would a desktop.
