Heather Serignese is Assistant Vice President of CEO Communications at The Hartford. Serignese joined the company in 2007. In that time, she has held roles in corporate media relations, business line public relations, reputation and issues management, enterprise social media, and executive communications.

As leader of the CEO Communications team, Serignese establishes the CEO Communications engagement plan and supports the CEO’s internal and external speaking engagements, all-employee and leadership events, multimedia and event production, board communications and oversees the company’s Chairman’s Award program.

Serignese holds a master’s degree in journalism from Quinnipiac University, a bachelor’s degree in history and political science from Mount Saint Mary College and an associate degree in liberal arts from SUNY Orange.

Serignese is active in her local community, volunteering as a coach for Glastonbury Little League and Hartwell Soccer.
