Bob Osmond has more than 25 years of experience delivering integrated public relations programs for technology and consumer clients. As president of Racepoint Global (RPG), Bob leads agency strategy, culture, and operations, and helps shape conversations that matter for tech-forward brands. He is passionate about work culture and the role of communications in defining and integrating brand purpose. Bob also serves as a media trainer and coach to CEOs and executives, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Bob is a Certified Diversity Executive (CDE®), and a board member of the Public Relations Council.

Bob’s agency career includes positions at Upstart Communications (FleishmanHillard), Cohn & Wolfe (BCW), Ketchum, Access Brand Communications, and RPG. His team’s work has been recognized with Cannes Lions, Silver Anvil, PRWeek, and Sabre awards.

Bob is a frequent contributor and commentator for industry and business publications. He moderates panels, speaks, and writes about a range of topics, including the changing communications landscape, corporate culture, employee communications and engagement, brand purpose, and DEI initiatives.

Community
RPG is a member of the Diversity Marketing Consortium (DMC), which provides communications services to historically marginalized and underserved founders. Since 2021, Racepoint has delivered more than $425,000 in pro-bono services to DMC clients.

Bob is also a platinum-level fundraiser for the Movember Foundation. He has personally raised more than $50,000 for the men’s health charity by growing a ridiculous mustache every November for the past thirteen years.

An Entrepreneur at Heart
Before starting his agency career, Bob worked as an entrepreneur and consultant. He spent several years as an artist manager in Canada, working with major-label bands. As a writer and marketer, he produced corporate and educational videos, worked in technical marketing within the geophysics industry, and implemented quality systems for manufacturing and services firms.

Personal Info
A father of three young adults, Bob lives in New York with his spouse, Hope Pordy. He is a runner and a consumer of all the arts and culture New York has to offer. A native of Nova Scotia, Canada, Bob holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Dalhousie University, Halifax.
