Kathryn Beiser is Vice President, Corporate Communications, and a member of the Discover Financial Services Management Committee.  In this role, Ms. Beiser is responsible for the company’s internal and external communications, executive communications, issues management, and corporate responsibility strategy, and plays an integral role in building Discover’s brand and reputation with key constituents.  She also serves on the company’s Disclosure Committee, Operational Risk Committee, and Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Board, and is Secretary of the Discover Political Action Committee.

Prior to joining Discover in January 2006, Ms. Beiser spent 20 years working at some of the world’s leading public relations agencies, including Burson-Marsteller, GolinHarris and Hill & Knowlton.

Ms. Beiser holds a B.A. in Political Science from Northwestern University and an M.S. in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern. In addition to her role as a Trustee of the Institute for Public Relations, she is a member of the Arthur W. Page Society and serves on the Board of Directors for Midwest Young Artists.
