Rachel Coffman is the President and Founder of Coffman Collaborative LLC, an Appalachian-based public relations firm specializing in reputation risk management and governmental affairs for manufacturing and industrial sectors serving the Appalachian region. Coffman founded Coffman Collaborative in September 2021 after serving as Associate Partner and Vice President at TSG Consulting LLC for 12 years.
Named the 2022 Public Relations Practitioner of the Year by the PRSA WV Chapter, Coffman is dedicated to delivering results in communications for her clients. She is the first public relations professional in West Virginia to receive both the PRSA WV Practitioner of the Year Award and the PRSA WV Young PR Professional of Year Award which she received in 2012. She has served on the Board of Directors of the PRSA WV Chapter since 2013 holding many leadership positions including President 2020-2022, Past-President 2021-2023, and Assembly Delegate 2023 until 2026. She is the professional advisor to the WVU PRSSA Chapter and was recently appointed to the Carver Career and Technical Center Graphic Design Program Advisory Council.
Coffman serves as the co-chair for the WV Manufacturers Association Governmental Affairs Committee, the WV Chamber of Commerce Governmental Relations Committee, and YWCA of Charleston Public Policy Committee. Other honorees included, PRSA East Central District Diamond and Merit Awards, PRSA WV Crystal Awards, 2021 State Journal Generation Next 40 Under 40 honoree, and West Virginia Executive Magazine Young Gun Class of 2018.
