In his inaugural lecture at Bournemouth University, Professor Tom Watson, a member of the IPR Commission on Measurement and Evaluation, spoke about ‘The Evolution of Evaluation – Public Relations’ Erratic Path to the Measurement of Effectiveness.” Professor Watson used the development of PR measurement and evaluation to map its future and discuss the modern history of public relations.
