The Institute for Public Relations has announced it will partner with the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) to run the first European Summit on Measurement, in mainland Europe in June 2009. The conference will be modeled on the successful US Summit event and be held from June 10-12, 2009.

Frank Ovaitt, Institute President and CEO, said: “We were delighted to be approached by our friends in AMEC to create our Summit on Measurement in Europe. This event with AMEC is in line with our new five-year strategy to recognize the increasing impact of globalization on our profession.”

Nicholas Grant, Chairman of AMEC, said: “Those of us who have attended the Summit on Measurement in the US have long admired the quality of the event which we will aim to replicate in Europe. Our membership is increasingly international and members have been asking for a major European event.”

Full details on the venue, registration details, etc, will be available later.
