Jim Joseph
CEO, U.S. and Global Chief Marketing and Integration Officer
Ketchum

Marketing is a spectator sport and Jim Joseph is one of the industry’s most engaging, enthralling, and entertaining commentators and drivers. In his primary role as CEO, U.S. at Ketchum, Jim constantly puts his decades-long integrated marketing experience to the test.

Jim’s list of brand experience spans virtually every industry and is a who’s who list of the most impressive brands on the planet including Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Walmart, Intel, Oracle, American Express, Novartis, Microsoft, Hyatt, Ford, and McDonald’s.

Jim is also an award-winning author of The Experience Effect series and an adjunct instructor at New York University where he teaches a graduate class in integrated marketing. His newest book The Conscious Marketer explores the need for brands to be aware of socio-political, public health, and cultural issues in their marketing. He has also written a book about his journey as a father in Out & About Dad.

Entrepreneur of the Year, Agency of the Year, Consumer Launch Campaign of the Year, Most Creative Agency, Best Place to Work, Social Media Icon, Hall of Fame – these are the accolades that Jim has amassed throughout his career. Lisa Kaplan
Founder and CEO
Alethea

Lisa Kaplan founded Alethea in 2019 to help customers navigate the new digital reality and protect against threats stemming from disinformation, misinformation, and social media manipulation. Kaplan and her team drive new solutions to meet the dynamic threats facing brands, individuals, and organizations as disinformation continues to impact the public and private sector across all industries. Under Kaplan’s leadership, the Alethea team has built the technologies and capabilities to detect and expose threats at scale to market capitalization and shareholder value, customer bases, physical safety, and brand and reputation. This includes exposing foreign, domestic extremist, and for-profit disinformation networks that have targeted organizations, institutions, and brands.

Kaplan has briefed US, NATO, EU, and G-7 policymakers and officials on disinformation. She writes for Brookings and Lawfare, and is frequently sought out by top-tier media outlets, such as The New York Times, Bloomberg, CNN, and the Washington Post and Alethea was named one of the hottest cybersecurity startups to watch in 2023 by Fortune. She was named to the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list of top entrepreneurs and leaders and the Washingtonian’s 2021 Washington’s Most Powerful Women list. Kaplan is a graduate of Colby College.

Nina Kao
Head of Public Relations
TSMC

Nina Kao is the Deputy Spokesperson and Head of Public Relations of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, Ltd. (TSMC). Nina joined TSMC in 2018 as Head of Public Relations, and assumed additional responsibility of Deputy Spokesperson in 2019. Nina has over 10 years experience in various roles from regional software sales, global product marketing to corporate communications. Prior to TSMC, Nina was the Executive for Marketing, Communications, and Citizenship at IBM Taiwan, responsible for corporate branding, marketing strategy and market development, media relations, corporate social responsibility, and university relations.

Nina is a technology enthusiast and open-minded strategist who is extremely devoted to enhancing client experience, transforming communication, and championing diversity and inclusion.

As a global citizen, having studied/lived in Taiwan, Singapore, Finland, and United States. Through the experience in these different and vibrant countries, Nina appreciates the importance of diversity and embracing changes. Nina was awarded “40 under 40: APAC Marketing Communication Achievers” in 2017 by Campaign Asia. The award recognizes top-tier young talents transforming Asia-Pacific media and marcomms. She was also awarded “innovator 25 Asia-Pacific” by PRovoke in 2021 as one of whom is reshaping influence and engagement at a time when the industry was profoundly reimagining the future of work, campaigns, live events and much more.

Nina obtained a bachelor degree of Science in Industrial Engineering with Business Management Minor within three years from University of Arizona. 

Gary Rudnick
President and Chief Operating Officer
Golin

Gary is the global President and COO of Golin and is based in the company’s Chicago headquarters office.  He has oversight for the company’s business operations, its practice groups, the America’s region, Human Resources and the financial stewardship of the company. Together with the Golin leadership team, he is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the agency’s management, including its innovative business strategy, its consistently strong financial performance, its one-of-a-kind culture, and its industry-leading reputation. 

Over his 25 year career with Golin, Gary’s teams have regularly been recognized for countless award-winning programs on behalf of our clients, and agency of the year accolades from our peers and our industry. 

Gary is a graduate of the University of Michigan, and resides in the Chicago area with his wife and three daughters.
