Nancy Elder
Chief Communications Officer
New York Mets

Nancy has spent her career advising boards of directors, CEOs and executive leadership teams on brand communications strategy, transformation, reputation, and purpose in roles including Chief Communications Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of several Fortune 500 companies.  She is currently CCO for the New York Mets where she oversees the Club’s reputation and all communications on and off the field.

Prior to the Mets, she was CCO for DAZN, a global sports streaming company, where she oversaw the global communications strategy, crisis and financial communications, DEI, social impact and the company’s women in sports strategy.

Nancy also held the CCO position at Mattel as well as JetBlue.  While at Jetblue, she expanded the company into new customer segments through partnerships with TEDx, the New Lab and the White House American Business Act on Climate Pledge.  Additionally, she served on Governor Cuomo’s NY State Tourism Council and was appointed a David Rockefeller Fellow.

Earlier in her career, Nancy held various strategy, marketing and communications positions at Mastercard, Time Warner, GE and Marsh McLennan. Nancy is a FSG-certified shared-value consultant, a board member of GrowNYC and an advisor to the Montauk Playhouse and Community Center.

Cameron Batten
SVP and CCO
Volkswagen Group of America

Cameron is the Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at Volkswagen Group of America. He and his team are responsible for building belief and deepening trust in one of the world’s most iconic automotive brands. He serves as the Group’s U.S. spokesperson and leads public relations and stakeholder engagement for the Volkswagen brand across North America.

Before Volkswagen, Cameron was the Vice President and Head of Communications for Samsung Electronics America. He led corporate communications, product public relations, risk, social media, internal communications, and citizenship. He was also on the Enterprise Diversity Council and also served as the executive sponsor of the company’s Equality Alliance employee resource group. Cameron has more than two decades of experience leading public relations and corporate affairs functions across technology, healthcare, and financial service. He holds a degree in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a member of the Arthur Page Society Page Up Program and has taught New York University’s Graduate School of  Professional Studies.  

Margot Edelman
Deputy General Manager

Margot Edelman is the Deputy General Manager of Edelman’s New York Office, the largest in the Edelman network. Previously, she was the General Manager of Edelman’s Bay Area Hub, which spans 170 professionals in Sacramento and San Francisco, and before that, she led Edelman’s Technology Practice in the Bay Area. Passionate about all things tech, Margot brings a wealth of experience in brand building, corporate reputation and executive visibility to her clients, which include technology companies and venture capital funds.

Margot has worked for seven years on the press team at the World Economic Forum during its Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, where she led broadcast media from Reuters, Bloomberg, Associated Press and other around the Forum and arranged broadcast interviews with participants. Margot has also spoken at DLD 2019 on the topic of trust in technology, moderated panels at The World Economic Forum, among other. She also holds a BA in history and economics and a MBA from Harvard University.  

Krista Webster

Krista Webster is the President and CEO of Veritas Communications and Vice-Chair of a cluster of Stagwell Global (formerly known as MDC Partners) agencies spanning from advertising, and shopper marketing to digital and PR. She brings more than 20 years of global agency public relations, social media, and influencer marketing experience, working with blue-chip clients in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia. Credited with managing $50+ million in client portfolios on both sides of North American border by her late twenties with particular expertise in consumer marketing and pharma, Webster attributes her accelerated success to a strong focus on the integration of PR, digital advocacy, and influencer marketing levers with other below and above channels.

Webster’s awards and accolades are a testament to her success, hard work, and dedication. In addition to her numerous accomplishments, Webster has been named one of PRWeek’s Top 40 Under 40, one of Top Women In PR by PRNews, PRovoke’s Innovator 25 in 2017, Adweek Brand Star in 2018, a PR Juror at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2021, and Public Service Advertising Co-Chair at the 100th anniversary special of Strategy Online’s 2022 Marketing Awards in Canada.

As the head of Ruder Finn’s Asia Pacific operations, Elan Shou leads a team of over 550 individuals across 23 offices in Greater China, South East Asia and India. Elan has transformed Ruder Finn’s Asia Pacific business from a US$10 million traditional public relations agency in 2013 to the US$50 million communications powerhouse it is today. Elan specializes in corporate reputation management, brand building, issue and crisis management, media training, agency operations and team building. The clients she represents include Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Tencent, Amazon, IKEA, MHD, Hermes, Montblanc, Emirates, Shanghai Disney Resort, Singapore Tourism Board, Twitter, Roche, Abbott, GSK, Dyson, and McDonald’s.

Elan was selected as the PR Agency Head of the Year at the 2020 PR Awards Asia, and as one of China’s first “Women to Watch” by AdAge in 2012. Her commitment to community development is evident in her work for the Shanghai Haihui Community Livelihood Development Center, where she used to serve as Chairman of the Board to implement charity initiatives to alleviate poverty.

Paul Mottram

Paul Mottram leads Zeno Group in Asia Pacific, covering a network of eight offices across the region. A seasoned brand and communications strategist, Paul has lived and worked in Asia since 1992 in a variety of in-house and consultancy roles. Based in Hong Kong, Paul is experienced in integrated marketing, brand strategy and storytelling, CEO media training and coaching, and crisis preparedness.

Over almost two decades in consultancy, Paul has also worked with local and global sector-leading brands across consumer and enterprise tech, online, hospitality, automotive, and financial services, including Ant Financial, Baidu, ByteDance, Citi, eBay, FedEx, Fiat, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, FWD, Google, GM, HTC, IHG, McLaren, Microsoft, SAP, Siemens, Skype, Standard Charted, SWIFT, and Tencent among many others. Prior to his agency career, Paul worked for regional trade publishing and trade show company Global Sources as Vice President of Corporate Marketing. A native of the United Kingdom, Paul holds a degree in government and political theory from the University of Manchester.

Glenn Eden

As a twenty 23-year seasoned veteran at Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s largest and leading public relations firms, Glenn is responsible for the creation and implementation of strategic PR, corporate reputation and executive visibility plans for technology, financial services, healthcare, academia, and government clients. He also has provided strategic counsel to clients on internal and external DEI narrative building and storytelling strategies.

In addition, Glenn has a proven track record of advising and counseling companies and government entities on thought leadership positioning and media relations strategies to ensure exposure that successfully raises awareness, visibility, and understanding of their value propositions, and favorably supports their overall business objectives. He has advised Abbott, Johnson & Johnson, IBM, Nuveen Investments, the U.S. Department of Treasury, Motorola, Mattel, Lenovo, Google, Gogo, Qualcomm, Villanova University, City of Chicago’s Department of Innovation and Technology, and others. 

Lynne Mulholland
General Manager, Group Corporate Affairs

Lynne is General Manager, Group Corporate Affairs for The Hongkong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited (HSH), a luxury hospitality company that was established in 1866 and is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. HSH is the owner-operator of The Peninsula Hotels, The Peak Tram (one of Hong Kong’s most popular visitor attractions) and other luxury properties and clubs around the world. Appointed in 2014, Lynne has global responsibility for corporate reputation, crisis communication and issues management, corporate and financial communications, media relations and public affairs for the HSH Group.

Lynne currently serves as an Advisory Member on the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC). She is a Board Director of the Vision 2047 Foundation and Vice Chair Member of the Special Needs Network Hong Kong. Lynne is a past President of the St. Patrick’s Society of Hong Kong and a current Committee Member of Northern Irish Connections, She holds a BA in English Literature and History from Queen’s University, Belfast.
