Patricia (Pat) Stortz, Vice President – Corporate Communications, leads Employee Communications for AT&T.  She is also the communications head for AT&T Business Solutions, a $60 billion unit within the corporation. As head of Employee Communications, Pat leads a team of professionals responsible for creating and deploying strategic campaigns and programs to engage AT&T’s 245,000 employees worldwide.  In her role supporting AT&T Business Solutions, Pat provides executive support to Business Solutions CEO Andy Geisse, and heads a global PR team that develops and executes B2B PR campaigns to assist the business selling effort while positively influencing the AT&T brand.

Pat is a 30-year veteran of AT&T. Over the years, she’s held numerous assignments at the corporate and business unit level involving a range of PR functions, including media relations, employee communications, corporate executive communications, forum planning and speaker placement, advertising and client account management.

At one point during her career,  Pat was the head of public relations at Concert, the former global joint venture between BT and AT&T.   She was responsible for developing and executing global strategic media, analyst and employee programs and initiatives that positioned the now defunct venture with key audiences and customers.

Before joining AT&T, Pat worked for several years in New Jersey as a journalist for the Gannett Company, Inc.

Today, she lives in New York City with her husband and three children.
