Scoop explored how companies are approaching and implementing flexible work.

A survey of over 4,000 companies was conducted Oct. 2022 – Jan. 2023.

Key findings include:
1.) 51% of U.S. companies said they offer work location flexibility.
— Nearly 1-in-3 companies said they were fully flexible, allowing employees the freedom to choose whether and when to work from the office.
2.) Nearly 80% of Technology companies identified as fully flexible, the highest of any industry surveyed.
— Professional Services, Media & Entertainment, Financial Services, and Insurance round out the top five most flexible industries.
3.) The most popular combination of required in-office days was Tuesday through Thursday.
4.) Companies under 500 employees were more than twice as likely to be fully flexible compared to companies with more than 1,000 employees.
